A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to photograph baby Munro and his family in their St.Albert, Alberta home. Munro’s mom, Monique, and I go way back. I first met her back in junior high school. The two of us recently reconnected on Instagram and I enjoy all of Monique’s updates on being a new mom. After 15 years, it is so cool to reconnect and see the life that Monique has built with her husband Jesse.
I absolutely love shooting extended family lifestyle sessions. Both sets of Munro’s grandparents stopped by to have their photos taken with their newest grand baby. It’s so fun to see grandparents interact with their grandchildren. Looking at these photos, you can see the love they have for their newest grandson. The love between grandparents and their grand kids melts my photographer heart. I hope that one day, Munro will love looking back and seeing photos of himself with all three of his grandparents. Looking at these photos will be an amazing reminder of how excited his whole family was to welcome him into this world.
